The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill will soon face crucial votes as it continues its journey through the House of Commons. The next steps are key – MPs will soon decide whether the Bill should pass to the House of Lords. Passing these stages could bring us one step closer to real, compassionate change for people who are dying. 

The Bill’s passing is far from guaranteed. Everything is still to play for, and we need your help.

By writing to your MP, you can urge them to stand up for choice, dignity, and compassion for those who need it most.

We’ve made it quick and easy for you to write by providing a standard letter, but MPs react best to letters when they are customised to match your own personal experience and views. Here’s how you can do that:

1. If you are terminally ill and fear you will need an assisted death, please talk about this.

2. If you have or have had a loved one who would have benefited from a compassionate assisted dying law, please talk about this.

3. If you are a medical professional, please explain how this influences your views.

4. If you previously wrote to your MP about the Bill at Second Reading and they responded, respond to what they said in your email.
